About Alice's Kitchen
Alice’s Kitchen is a Fern Bay based cake business owned and operated by Alice – a self taught baker.
Growing up, I remember being tantalised by the smell of fresh bread baked by my eldest sister. I was inspired to take any opportunity to learn and experiment with as many baking ingredients as I could find. It wasn’t until I studied Food and Nutrition at high school that I knew in my heart that I would be a baker one day.
When Australia went into lock down (due to the pandemic) I decided to put my spare time to good use and decided to start baking. Baking helped me reignite my passion and turned into a stress relief activity for me – now you can’t get me out of my kitchen!
I love the smiles on people’s faces when they open a cake box and are delighted with one of my creations. I don’t think I will ever get tired of it. It brings me joy to know that my passion is bringing them happiness.
Family remains important to me. My husband and sons continue to cheer me on as my hobby and passion has now grown into a business – Alice’s Kitchen.

My late father was my biggest encourager and official taster. He always cheered me on even when the cakes and baking delights were far from delicious. He always told me to chase after my dreams. I hope I have made him proud.
